Why Not Bobby?
The Story of the 80th Greatest Stand-up Comic of All Time
Stand-up comedian Bobby Slayton, The Pitbull of Comedy, has appeared in movies (Dreamgirls, Ed Wood, Get Shorty), performed on numerous TV shows (Family Guy, The Tonight Show), and has been headlining in comedy clubs for over 30 years. Considered a “comic’s comic” by such luminaries as Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, and Paul Rodriguez, Bobby Slayton still isn’t a household name. “Why Not Bobby?” is the question producer David Castro and director Jason Scholder teamed up to answer.
Here are some favorite outtakes from our documentary “Why Not Bobby?” featuring people you have heard of (and some you haven’t).
